I’m a Colorado girl at heart — raised on sunshine, mountain views, and wide open skies — and that love for natural light and movement shows up in everything I photograph. But more than anything, I’m a mom. And it’s my own family that shaped the way I see this work. The fleeting seasons. The messy middle. The quiet snuggles. The loud, chaotic, beautiful in-between. I started this journey over a decade ago because I wanted to preserve that feeling — the kind that turns into nostalgia years down the road.

Working with families (especially toddlers!) is truly my comfort zone. I understand wiggles, short attention spans, snack breaks, and the magic of turning a simple moment into something fun. I come prepared with creative ideas so no one feels stiff or bored — we read books, play games, dance, run, cook, jump, explore. When kids are genuinely engaged, connection happens naturally. Real smiles. Real laughter. Real memories unfolding in front of us. I guide gently, use both natural and artificial light confidently, and help you build a vision that feels like you — from outfits to location to the overall feel of your session.

And moms — this part matters to me deeply. I know you’re usually the one behind the camera. You’re documenting everyone else. But one day, your children will look back at these photographs. They’ll notice how you held them, how you laughed, how you looked at them.
